Do you secure the customers vps server behind a firewall ? Or do you expose the hosted vps server with the public ip on the internet without firewall ?
Ive seen many providers that assign the public ip address directly to the vps and allow any incoming traffic to the server. I think thats possible but the large providers such as oracle create a NAT Network and assign the public ip behind a firewall where you can configure everything.
As ive seen you can let the customer add firewall rules in many panels ( virtualizator ).
How do you handle that ?
