AlpineHost Hi, A customer added a new domain to their Plesk hosting account. Instead of showing the actual content which is a WP theme, it shows the Plesk default index page. Looking for a fix here please. Thanks.
Amadex Hello, you should open File Manager and check if there are two files: index.php (from wordpress) and index.html You should delete then index.html, because .html file has priority.
Henry_Alfred This could be due to a DNS spread (wait 24 hours), the need to restart the web server (contact your hosting provider to restart Apache/Nginx), or Plesk configuration. Make sure the document root points to your WordPress directory and the default is "index.html" (rename or change the settings to give your WordPress the default "index.php"). This quick fix can get your WordPress site up and running on another domain!
greenhost-cloud To fix this issue, you need to update the website's document root in Plesk to point to the correct directory where the WordPress theme is located. This can be done through the File Manager or the Website & Domains tab. Make sure the domain's DNS settings point to the correct server.
