Well, in the end, I went the "classic" route - full sized, "normal."
Keychron Q6 QMK Custom with blue switches for home - on a Black Friday discount.
First impression is - very good. Surprisingly heavy. Space bar is a bit pingy due to the metal casing (like it resonates a bit, but not flimsy).
(Yes, the peasant likes it shiiiiny 🙂 )
For the office, I went with Keychron K10 Wireless with brown switches - also on a BF discount. The nicest thing is that it works nicely with a KVM switch when connected via cable (not using the Blue Tooth mode at all).
It's not as good as the Q6, but at half the price, it's 85% there in terms of quality. The brown switches (with silicone o-rings beneath the key caps) are surprisingly quiet - almost like a membrane keyboard. Though I very much prefer the blue switches, I wanted a silent option (some people get annoyed by the keyboard clicking).
