What's the worst provider you've dealt with?

Most people (and companies) have made some mistakes during their careers. Also, there are a ton of crappy providers. That's why I think it's better to share the good experience and avoid wasting energy on the bad ones.

Don't mean this in any "holier-than-thou" kind of way - just in terms of staying happy and productive.

My worst experience was with OneProvider.com when I bought a dedicated server. IPMI didn't work, support didn't answer for days. When I saw that they were reselling servers from Online.net, I decided to buy there directly. My disk broke at Online.net and they said they couldn't change it and offered me a server with an Intel® C2750 (Avoton) processor for the same price. And I bought a server with an Intel® Xeon® D-1531.

So a big NO for OneProvider and Scaleway/Online.

Amadex Scaleway/Online

I have had quite an opposite experience with Scaleway,
Though I have only used their cloud products,
I have been using them since they started offering ARM machines,
I have an active instance that has been running since 6 years, zero downtime, looks like they somehow live migrate their cloud instances,

Though they have constantly been increasing their pricing to the point where it just makes more sense to use AWS.

evnix It's easier to handle VMs in a cluster. It makes sense to use AWS or Hetzner.

I would normally look for in below order:

Support (Technical support is very important), Value for Price (you will get what you pay for), Uptime, Reliability!
