Here it is - a Hosting Forums special, exclusive, never before published review of what I consider to be the (only) Serbian hosting provider that I'd trust with my (and clients') websites: MyCity Hosting.
Here is where I usually publish my web hosting reviews (BikeGremlin site link).
All the info provided in this review is to be taken as "to the best of my knowledge" or "as far as I know and have tested." Nothing more, nothing less.
I'll send a link to this review to MyCity and hope they will correct me if I got something wrong.
About
MyCity Hosting has been in the business for well over 10 years. The company was founded and is owned by Mr Predrag Damnjanović. He is well known in Serbian tech. circles as a top-class guy who is always willing to provide help and advice. On more than one occasion, I have bothered him for insight and advice on some more "esoteric" problems that Google couldn't help me with.
MyCity Hosting about us page tells a lot. As far as I can tell, based on my personal experience and feedback I got from other customers - it's all true (it's a relatively small country: "Good reputation spreads far, and bad reputation spreads even further" - Serbian proverb).
Tech stack
MyCity Hosting uses Hetzner servers and MyVestaCP control panel. MyVestaCP started as a Vesta fork but is now completely separate. Predrag keeps it updated, patched and secured - and it's been reliable (I consider it to be better and more secure than Vesta, Hestia or other similar open-source control panels). Simplicity and ease of maintenance mean the panel works only on Debian - as that is what MyCity uses for the servers.
This allows for good control and optimization. It also has a downside: the panel is not suitable for reseller hosting management, and that is the main reason for my not using the service extensively. Though I did place two sites for my friend, and they've been running trouble-free since 2018 (I didn't get a single website-problem-related call since I moved the sites to MyCity). I've just added the uptime monitor to my HetrixTools status page, and over the following months, we'll (again) have a more objective overview of the service's uptime (monitoring an active WordPress website's uptime - which should show any problems with server or database connection):

I have literally never used MyCity hosting tech. support services, so can't really comment from personal experience. It's been a set-and-forget experience as far as I'm concerned - migrated sites to MyCity and never heard of any problems again. Checked for performance and uptime during the first 12 months, then just completely forgot about it. Lol. 🙂
Over the past years, I've recommended this provider to many of my countrymen - especially those who need tech. support that speaks Serbocroatian. And I haven't heard any complaints whatsoever.
Performance
No LiteSpeed, so WP performance is not as good as some other high-end providers manage. Of course, there are plugins and ways to make WP run fast even without the LiteSpeed - they are just not as idiot-friendly (i.e. simple to use and configure).
Problems and downsides?
For me, the only problem is the lack of reseller hosting offers (the same goes for SiteGround, for that matter - even without considering the prices). cPanel or DirectAdmin reseller hosting lets me easily monitor, automate backups, and migrate dozens of websites when needed. So it's definitely not a perfect fit for everyone. But it is what I would call a good hosting provider nonetheless.
The prices are reasonable when compared to the quality of service, but they aren't super cheap (the cheapest shared hosting plan starts from $6 per month). With a coupon code “BIKEGREMLIN” you get a 10% discount on all the MyCity hosting packages (my yachts and jet planes won't pay for themselves!).
